Personal:
Dr. Becker (formerly Susan Marie Kelly) was born and raised in Massachusetts to a Cuban-Irish family. At age 14, she moved with her family to Miami. With the exception of going away to Duke for college, she has lived in Miami ever since. She and her husband, Michael, have been married for over 20 years. They are the proud parents of 2 boys, ages 18 and 10. They also have a dog, Homer, a golden retriever/chow mix who takes good care of the whole family.
